Calculating Average Generation Growth

Calculating Average Generation Growth

Assuming a mean generation duration until propagation.

Calculating dg by

  • birth rate
  • death rate
  • immigration
  • and emmigration

of a community.

Example UK

Annual birth rate

2017 estimation:

80600/66.2 million = 1.22 % = 0.0122

30 year generation birth rate?

(1 + 0.0122) ^ 30 = 1.44 = 1 + 44 %

Are these 44 percent the growth of one or two or even more generations?
